engine fitting has begun

1st victim : the Transmission tunnel

2nd victim : the 3K engine mounts

Trans tunnel being Cut

engine being fitted ( is not the final engine position yet)

what is left to do is cut the crossmember
and box it in so that the oilpan doesn't hit it

e mester ta complete , e driveshaft no

chances are cu mi lo husa e diff aki prome cu un set di traction bars i wak si e ta hold up , sin cu mi cambia mucho cos suspension wise

cualkier hende cu por tin of sa hende cu tin , PM

Na warda di polis na Balashi mes tin un Hilux double cabin cu cruz cora pinta dak placha, cu tin e diff basta hente........ bo por check esei tambe.

Mind you, tin di nan tin 4.56:1 pero e gran mayoria di e Hiluxnei tin 4.88:1 gears lo cual e rotarynei ta gusta een wereld!

little update

small batch of parts has just arrived today ,

parts list

1. new Master cylinder
2. caliper repair kit
3. New metallic brake pads
4. 2X New brake rotors

if the car doesn't brake now it never will !

well , some extra stuff a wordo hasi since e last update

Hilux Diff is done and under the car 4 bolt conversion to stay 4 bolt all around

wheel wells undercoated with colad undercoating spray

body man a wordo hanja pa traha riba dje , i pronto lo cuminsa riba dje

Voor de rest , un paar di Parts a wordo buska kaba i tin paar mas na caminda

Project updates :

well great progress on the engine fitting

things that have been done are the following

1. New Transmission support made for the 13b transmission
2.OEM Toyota engine cross-member notch and weld (also removing the old 3KC engine mounts completely to make the engine bay clean )
3.Totally New custom Engine cross-member to support the new 13b power-plant (all done in house )
4.alloy solid motor supports ( oem Mazda rubber engine supports will be placed later for less vibration and streetabilty )

after many months or you can even say years (almost 3 to be exact ) i have been able to source new body panels for the car , mostly the ones i need and more.
on the to buy list are the following :
2x new fenders
1x new hood
1x new front valance

also new (to me ) front and rear bumpers in very good condition have been sourced and bought for the car with all the chrome intact . very good find in my case (pictures below )

very happy that they are still making new stuff for these cars

13b mock-up with the custom cross-member ( hence the bare metal rusting )
