Pa awor esaki ta e unico pic cu mi lo post. Mi tin algun controversia cu e STi. Pa haci un storia largo cortico; e coilover nan di e STi mester wordo revisa. Mi a hanja sorpresa ora cu mi a dicidi di bay adjust e haltura di e STi patras.e renchinan tabata ful comi y gasta, e spring nan tabata aangetast door di frustu. E set dilanti ta bon bon, dus mi no sa dicon esun nan patras ta den asina mal condishon. Ta frustrante y desapunta. E auto aki mi no a cumpre di un dealer sino particulier. Mi fout ta cu mi no a check e auto bon y objectivamente sino a keda asombra cu e ta un STi den "bon" condishon.

E set di coilovers nan ta di KW y ta e variant 1. Mi a contact KW alemania caba y mi mester manda nan e serial number cu tin riba e coilover pa asina nan por bisami cuanto e parts nan lo costa.

Voor de rest e auto a wordo inspecshona pa un amigo dimi cu ta donjo di un Scooby dealer. In het algemeen; het is een nette auto.

Pa awor:
- e SSQV BOV lo wordo replasa pa un OEM BPV di Subaru mes
- e Coilover system lo wordo revisa
- nos a test un set di Advan RS wheels 18 x 9J riba e auto patras. e wheel tabata tin tires 255 riba dje dus e tabata stick out. porta cu 245 y camber e lo por bay. Lo tin cu test dilanti ainda si e tire no lo dal ora di bira.

Update di e STi;

Mi a haña e lista di parts nan cu mester pa revisa e coilover nan. Pa mi "suerte" despues di despues di a manda e parts number nan pa e KW dealer aki na NL mi a bin haña sa cu bow di e STi tin e variant mas caro pa un street/track setup esta KW Coilover Variant 3. Esaki por adjust damping (14 clicks), rebound, y haltura separa.

E prijs di e parts nan ta;

- 4 insert shocks: €800
- 4 springs: €375
- 4 height adj rings: €100
- Labor and Prodrive allignment: €400
En total: €1.675,-. Un set nobo ta kosta €2.000,- sin labor y allignment.

E Garashi na unda mi ta laga hacie ta di un conosi cu ta un Subaru specialist. nos a analisa e situashon di e coilovers nan dimi y a bin sali na cla cu no mester di un grondig revisie. 4 springs and 4 rings ta sufisiente ya cu e schocks nan ta bon y no ta lek.

E weekend aki tabata basta pisa ya cu mi a pompa mi curba cu e damping y rebound settings. E coilover no tabata bon adjusted dus mi a recalibra nan door di sera e damping completo manera KW ta sugeri y lage sera pa un anochi y no core e auto.

KW ta sugeri pa damping front: 9 open clicks y pa rear: 12 open clicks. prome mi no a hañe logisch pero e Aleman nan sa kico nan ta haci pero e la make sense na final. Rebound mester a sere ful y 1 turn open pa front y rear.

Mi a bay core e auto... E resultado tabata mind blowing. Low speeds e auto tabata stable y pasa riba bumps no tabata un prblema. e demping ta sporty pero comfortable. high speeds e auto ta stable. cornering no mucho body role.

Mi a keda hopi contento. door cu e adj rear rings nan ta gasta mi no por lanta e auto patras siendo cu esey tin cu pasa ainda.

Mi ta benieuwd con e keda cu e springs nobo nan y cu e ta sinta 2 cm mas halto patras.

Awe mi a laga kita e HSK SSQV di riba e STi y instala un EOM BPV. Resultado positivo;
- E auto no ta bock mas na salida
- E ta idle hopi mas mihor y tranquilo
- e no ta back fire mas
- ora di cambia speed e tabata tene e rpm halto mei mei di e speed nan awor no mas

e auto ta core mas soepel awor y ta trahando mihor.

Mi lo hacie na e dealer cu e importer a bisami. un verschil di €330 ta hopi placa mes.

Bon pregunta; e no ta prueba completamente pero BOV no ta bon pa un Subaru boxer engine. E findings nan ta irregular pa locual ta trata cantidad di auto nan pero e simptomanan ta mescos den tur caso. e no ta bay pa un marca di BOV sino tur.
- e auto ta idle irregularmente
- e auto ta bog na salida
- durante di cambiamento di speed e rpm ta bay halto enves di baha.

mi STi tin e symptomanan aki y un motibo personalmente cu mi ta haña e zonido annoying.

mi tin cu bisa si cu tin WRX y STI cu tin un BOV pero ta traha bon sin fayo.

e oem bpv por wanta 20 pa 22 psi di boost.

E bov simplemente tin cu recirculate back. E tin te maken cu e tipo di MAF sensor cu ta wordo usa. Eclipsenan tambe tin mesun problema, minsa si e EVOnan tambe tin. E Sti PD twt tin un greddy cu un recirculation kit cu ta vent back den intake. No sound, y adjustable pa 30 psi.
Niun non-adjustable OEM bov no por wanta riba 15 psi sin cuminsa leak boost.

Riba e WRX mi tabata tin OEM bpv, boosting 1.2 bar (17,8 psi) sin leak.it's proven cu e ta bay te 20 pa 22 prome e cuminsa leak.

mi tin e BOV pero aki mi por haña mas pe, door cu e mercado ta dicta esey. ami no ta bay ranca placa di bo. Mi tin ne riba Markt plaats pa €175,00. y tin algun reacshon.

Sup guys,

Mi por schrap e suspension adjustment for di e lista. Ayera mi a bay cu e auto na e KW dealer na Beek y nan a kita tur 4 coilovers, corta e ring biew, haci nan limpi, ponen nan back bow di e auto y adjust e stance y allign e auto back.

E guy cu a traha riba e auto ta doño di e shop y nan ta representa KW como dealer. E guy a bay Alemania tambe pa wak con KW ta produci nan lineanan di suspenions. Mi a bin haña sa cu KW, Eibach y Abt ta sali di KW. E systema di suspension di Eibach ta un tici pas halto den calidad. Pero Eibach ta usando KW struts cu Eibach springs den nan productonan.

Mi a bin hanja sa basta over di coiloversets vooral ora ta trata manenshon. Mi tabata tin un systema di Mztrac riba e WRX cu tabata hopi bon mes. Tambe bo ta haña un grease spray can cu bo por spray e coilover cu ne, greasing it up.

Locual cu hopi hende ta haci fout no ta e greasing it up pero purba adjust e cu e grease riba dje (draad). Sushi ta pega na e grease y si bo purba di adjist e bo por daña e thread riba e housing. depende di ki material e thread/housing y e ring ta traha e daño por ta ireversibel.

Ora di adjust un coil over mester spuit e cu brake cleaner pa degrease e y usa usa un skeiro di waya y clean up e thread nan. Su e ring tin un l-wrench como luck of dobel rings ... los nan y despues cu e ta ful limpi bo mester por draai e renchi nan cu bo man. Claro no lubida di jack e auto... y pone riba jack stands.

Si bo no por draai e renchi nan cu bo man esey kiermen cu e threads no ta limpi y ta consehabel pa no draai e ni cu e beugel nan.

STi project going slower cu e WRX a bay pero esaki mi tin planes pa hacie aun mas mihor cu e WRX. Pa pasa e nivel di e WRX maske cu esaki ta un STi caba lo costa hopi. Pics di e stance lo follow soon.
