My 215/35-ZR18 cost 350 for a non-mainstream brand.......i was quoted about 600 for a premium brand.....so 700 is not too crazy for a 20 incher and if it is a brand name tire.....?......

Lets do the math: 420 Euro converting to USD @ 1.36358 equals USD 572,70.
Shipping from, let's say port of Miami to here(and we could also add inland shipping if we got them upnorth!)....let's say USD 150.....sub total: $722.70
What's duties? 22%?(correct me if i am wrong)....that would be $158.99....total: $881.69
Convert into florins x 1.8234= AWG 1607.68
Lets be nice and add AWG. 150 for other charges blah blah blah......

AWG 1757.68......for all 4 tires......for 1 tire = AWG 439.42

And for the fark of it...lets say i own a shop and i gotta sell it.....easy 5 or 6 hundred RIGHT THERE depending on how greedy i wanna be with my markup...

This is a VERRRRRRRRRY rough calc............it could be HIGHER........

Jairo, it's not wanting to.... it's about having too. You choose 20" wheels....or superwide tires... You will pay those prices. No other way around it.
Gotta pay to play.

Seems the most sensible thing, right? Car is engineered with that size wheels, isn't it?

Written everywhere..........cars are engineered with MULTIPLE sizes........but we are accustomed to getting and buying the CHEAPER, SMALLER CRAP the local dealers say: "asina nan ta bin foi fabrica"........BULLSHEIZE!!!
