As said in the article, what would be your opinion on the topics discussed at the social night?

  • Extreme Import Class what is the time to qualify, at first it was @ 8.20 and under but after some deliberation they came to a solution. This will most likely be 8.50 or 8.90, will be announced later.
  • Traction: Are they going to make sure the track has good traction compound. Yes
  • Is the import class going to be Bracket or Heads Up: Heads Up
  • Rules: Which rulebook and of what year will be applied to this race? TBA

I would say, from what little experience I have and what I've seen during the last decade, if they opt for 8.90 there would be a better chance for the local cars to qualify. This early in the year the cars' et's are all over the place. They (the organising committee) could always choose 8.50 or 8.20 later or the following day for a tighter race.

Traction - They better make sure they have sufficient. Big power + little cars with their small wheelbases + slippery track = armageddon. :eek:

Heads up????? Going back in time then. Kuri kwe, as our sister island would say.

Rulebook.... rulebook.... hmmmm.... we're IHRA member, are we not?
